Hi Bob-I picked up my knives this afternoon and just had to write. They work better than when I first got them! It was an incredible pleasure to easily cut the chicken breast I had just sauteed for my one year old's dinner. Usually, I have to 'saw' to get it to cut, but not tonight. Tonight all I had to do was a gentle motion and I had a perfectly cut piece. Tomorrow night's dinner well be Chinese beef and broccoli. I took lessons but have never been able to get the beef sliced thin enough on my own. I know I can do it now with my new sharpened knives! I will definitely bring the rest of the knives I have after the first of the year as well as shout your name from the rooftops so all my foodie friends know whaere to go to get a quality job done.

I've meant to write several times since picking up our knives a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to send along my "Wow!" to go with all the others. I used to cringe when someone was visiting and asked where my knives were. It would have been better for me to say "we don't have any..." than to offer the dull pieces of metal we used to have in our drawer. Now- no matter what knife we reach for- it makes the entire experience a joy. No fighting, no smashed tomatoes, no embarrasement. That is worth a lot! I hesitated to contact you 'cause we don't have the high end, pricey knives-just some nice knives, so I wasn't sure you'd even want to bother sharpening "regular folks' knives." You made me feel as though any knife is okay in your book as long as it's sharp. You are as bright as the blades you bring back to life! Thanks!

I had Bob sharpen my Wusthof chef's knife. To demonstrate how sharp the finished work was, he shaved a little hair off his arm with it! So my knife is now literally razor sharp. I have been using this knife daily for a month now and it's still sharp enough to shave with!

Bob, I just wanted to say what a great job you did! They're sharper than when they were new, and they look gorgeous.
